Yvette Poorter presents her new book Dwelling for Intervals, an account of a residency project in which 150 artists participated. Trees grown from seeds form the basis of this ten-year project, which began in a room in Montreal and, via a summer-house in Rotterdam, subsequently travelled around the world in a tent. To conclude this project, Yvette Poorter goes to the North Pole in order to plant her forest, of by now perished tree flags, on icebergs.
15.00 h KWARTET – Koen Taselaar & Marijke Appelman
KWARTET is a card game about the work of contemporary artists and consists of fourteen sets with subjects such as CRUMPLED PAPER and HEAD IN GROUND. Kwartet (old maid / happy families) is a typically Dutch card game played in groups of four people.
