TENT Welcomes Graphic Novel Weekend Rotterdam

Rotterdam’s growth is unstoppable. Systems are taking over ordinary life and an unstoppable robotization means that workers like Sjaak are falling between the cracks.
 But people are not ones and zeros. The seven writers and 17 illustrators who value hospitality and humanity in Roffa agree. Together they roll up their sleeves and come to Sjaak’s aid…. A story about Rotterdam humanity.

About Graphic Novel Weekend
The idea is similar to 24-hour comic day, in which artists worldwide challenge themselves to create a 24-page comic book in 24 hours. Graphic Novel Weekend challenges participants to produce a comic book in co-creation in 48 hours. Working together on one story while the clock is ticking takes some getting used to, but under pressure everything becomes fluid and pleasantly surreal!
