Performance ‘Walking into the Future Blind’ by Samboleap Tol
Artist Samboleap Tol creates immersive lecture performances that capture diasporic life in the West using a mix of sounds, anecdotes, and animations. She delves into the challenges and joys of this experience, addressing obscured familial backgrounds, postcolonial disorientation, enduring bonds, and the uncertainty of the future. Her work pays homage to non-Western migrant children navigating their families’ struggles while forging their own paths.
