Sit down with... Wouter Welling

On Wednesday 9 November at 12:30, Wouter Welling, curator of contemporary art at the National Museum of World Cultures, expands on one of Esma Yigitoglu’s works in the exhibition The Back Room. Based on remarkable anecdotes and referencing to the works in the exhibition, Wouter Welling reflects on the eventful life of Esma Yigitoglu. Every Wednesday, the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen presents a concise introduction to a work from its collection under the heading ‘Pak een stoeltje met’ (Sit Down With…). The talks are comparable to the well-attended ‘Take a walk with…’ free exhibition tours at TENT on Sunday afternoons.
