Veiling De Aanschouw (art auction)

After three lost Corona-years, this summer’s legendary (art) Veiling De Aanschouw finally returns! On July 6, 2001, the first exhibition was held in De Aanschouw, the former announcement showcase on the façade of Cafe de Schouw on Witte de Withstraat. Since then, every week a new artist has shown his work here. On July 6, De Aanschouw will celebrate its 22nd anniversary with its 1135th exhibition. Works by De Aanschouw artists will be offered at this auction.

In the days of the festival Wereld van Witte de With, the auction was held outside on the street, but after the festival was no longer licensed, TENT hosted the auction. Part of the proceeds will go to De Aanschouw itself (De Aanschouw is entirely subsidy-free and runs on the efforts of volunteers).

On July 7, 8 and 9 (during regular opening hours) you can come and view the auction offerings at TENT. On Sunday, July 9 at 15:00 everything goes under the hammer.
