The TAA (TAA) has run for over fifteen years and is a highlight of the arts calendar, garnering considerable interest from professionals and the film-going public. This year’s host country is Switzerland. Directly after graduating, young artists get the opportunity to present their work to a broad audience. The video works are exhibited at TENT and the Centre d’Art Contemporain in Geneva and are then submitted to film festivals. The Dutch and Swiss winners receive a TENT sponsored artist residency.

Graduating artists are scouted at the following renowned Swiss art academies specialising in audio-visual art: The University of Applied Sciences of Arts Western Switzerland in Delemont, the Geneva Institute of Art and Design, Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne, The Basel School of Design/Visual Communication Institute, The Zurich University of the Arts, The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Hochschule der Kunste Bern, and Ecole cantonale d’art du Valais.
