Atelier WeerZien | Workshops for children

Are you between the ages of 4 and 12 years? Come and visit Atelier WeerZien during the summer holiday’s, the laboratory for children developed by artist Anton Klein as an children’s edition of the exhibition Solid, Liquid, Vapour. Imagine yourself as a creative researcher with liquid experiments, such as making clouds and other icy discoveries.

At Atelier WeerZien children get the space and freedom like artist Esther Kokmeijer to research the element water in solid, liquid and vapour form, and to experiment with it. Also children will be challenged to think together, to discuss and philosophize on topics such as climat(change), sustainabilty and the influence of humans on nature. At the Atelier the children consciously don’t get answers from the adults, because their own questions and visions on the world is what matters.

Atelier WeerZien is open from Tuesday till Sunday between 11.00 and 18.00h, with free entrance for childeren. Every Wednesday afternoon from 13.00 till 14.00h there are free workshops to visit.
