In this edition you will learn more about the educational project linked to the exhibition Walk on by, and about the festive streamers that hang above your head when you walk through the room.
For three months, artists Tamara Vierbergen and Sheray of Light welcomed school groups to the exhibition. Students were invited to share what was going on inside them by asking their hearts a question and giving their answer in form and color. Together they built a growing sculptural addition to Walk on By. Sheray's attention to softness and playfulness and Vierbergen's interest in the cultural meaning of decoration come together in this project.
The students discussed the questions: how can you speak without words? And in what ways do you share your emotions with others?
