OPEN CALL — Publications for the TENT Bookshop

We have a new space, and something beautiful is growing there. In our space, you'll find a bookshop. A vibrant collection of books, zines, magazines, and experiments. Not a permanent collection, but a slowly evolving landscape that evolves with what's happening in the city, in TENT's arts programming, and in our minds. We invite you to be a part of it!

We are seeking publications that resonate with the upcoming exhibition "Son Don't Rush to be Read, Sun Don't Rush to Be Red," a program that breathes in the twilight zone between day and night. What can exist under soft light, that would destroy hard light?

We think of publications that move between deceleration and stillness, poetry and vulnerability, love and intimacy, finitude and softness, the space between light and dark, between beginning and end.

Do you have a book, zine, research, poem or something else that you would like to see in our bookshop?
Send your proposal no later than 21 October to books@tentrotterdam.nl with the following details:

– Your contact details
– Brief information about your book (max. 150 words, preferably the blurb)
– Date of issue
- Selling price
– Language

A selection of up to 20 different titles will be made from all submitted proposals. If your book is selected, 2-5 copies will be put on consignment. TENT BOOKSHOP is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting artistic book projects. We charge a 20% consignment commission. All proceeds are used to promote new artist-owned publications.
