20.07.2018 - 27.07.2018

DIVERGE is a multimedia art festival featuring musicians, artists, thinkers and creators outside of dominant cultures. As a part of the Rotterdam Unlimited Festival, DIVERGE asks: What does it mean to diverge from the mainstream? What can we learn from communities that are surviving outside of the norms? Organisor Rae Parnell, writing performer Naomi Veldwijk, podcaster Mariam El Maslouhi, and artist Keith King, Nazrina Rodjan, Strict Nurse, and Manuel Ricardo Garcia present an exhibition as the setting for a programme of workshops, designed to circulate skills and cultivate conversation around representation, justice and art production. Audience members will be able to go in depth to what it means to diverge with the DIVERGE workshop series. This series will not only circulate skills to audience members, but will cultivate in depth conversations around representation, justice, and art production.

To register for the workshops please send an email to: workshops@divergefestival.com and put in the headline which workshop you want to attend. Pick your favorites from the schedule below.
