CAMPSITE Festival is inspired by the setup of a real campsite, where different people temporarily stay and coexist. Collectiveness is an important aspect of the festival that unfolds not only in its artworks but also in its organisation. CAMPSITE shifts the focus from individuality to collectivity as a celebration of the collaborative power of artistic processes.
TimeWindow is a Rotterdam-based community of 50 independent artists, either rooted in or engaging with the performing arts. Besides sharing studio spaces, they support each other’s practices by operating within an organisational model based on circular hierarchy and inclusivity. Together, these artists strive for each other’s artistic and entrepreneurial empowerment through several activities, such as organising events.
