TENT Welcomes: Belongingness – finding home in the flesh

Natalia Amelia Saied

You are cordially invited to participate in a research session on connectedness, memory and the body. Belongingness – finding home in the flesh is a participatory artistic research project that explores how experiences of "home" live on in us beyond words. Through somatic attention, movement, and collective presence, we explore whether feelings of homecoming can be evoked, shared, and experienced bodily through gestures, shifts, and subtle nuances.

When we search for our place of belonging, we often focus outward: on people, places, objects, or histories. This session proposes a different direction, very close, just beyond our gaze: towards the embodied traces we already carry within us. Each participant brings their own lived archive. The session offers space for encounters, togetherness, listening, experimentation, and shared reflection.
