Throughout the whole day, TENT is open to the public for a look ‘behind the scenes’. During the afternoon, the dancers will be performing in the exhibition space while a videoclip is being recorded. At 20.00 hrs, the public opening of the exhibition takes place. The special opening performance will start at 21.00 hrs. The dancers will breathe life into their architectural headdresses, accompanied by the beat of a special soundtrack.

Marga Weimans in TENT until 27 September 2015
The well-known fashion designer Marga Weimans (Rotterdam) designed a procession with an artistic float for the Street Parade of the Rotterdam Summer Carnival. Fashion, art, and performance blend into an overall concept which is influenced by her personal background and her notions on the city dweller as an ‘agent of change’. For this project, Weimans collaborates with sound designer Rutger Zuydervelt (Machinefabriek) and choreographer Amber Vineyard (House of Vineyard/HipHopHuis).
