20.30hrs: the winner of the Promotieprijs 2007 will be announced by the chairman of the jury, Hugo Bongers. This annual prize of €2500 is presented to one of the graduates, who is ’representative of the quality and energy of the practice of art in Rotterdam’.

21.15hrs: I’m dropping science like a school text book
performance by Alexis Blake in collaboration with DJ Optimus. On the night of the opening, DJ Optimus will scratch interviews taken by Alexis Blake, which will be transferred onto an LP record together with mixed beats and found sounds. Followed by: DJ Romeo.
