Sit Down With... Noor Mertens

On Wednesday 9 March at 12:30, Noor Mertens, curator of modern and contemporary art at the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, expands on one of Paul Beckman’s works in the exhibition The Back Room. Based on remarkable anecdotes and referencing the furniture sculptures in the exhibition, Noor Mertens reflects on the eventful life of Paul Beckman. Every Wednesday, the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen presents a concise introduction to a work from its collection under the heading ‘Pak een stoeltje met’ (Sit Down With…). The talks are comparable to the well-attended ‘Take a walk with…’ free exhibition tours at TENT on Sunday afternoons.
