In March, students gathered at TENT to meet an artist from the exhibition Spending Quality Time With My Quantified Self, took part in an assignment and attended a lecture by our curators Jesse van Oosten and Niekolaas Johannes Lekkerkerk. Afterwards, all participating students developed a work of art in three weeks. The current group exhibition is the starting point and inspiration for students to reflect on the consequences of digitalization and quantification for our physical bodies and identities.
Curator Jesse van Oosten, assistant curator Noor Kloosterman and head of education Judith Vorwerk selected five works from the following students: Filomila (WdKA), Iiris Sointu (WdKA), Emma Johansson, Hanna Ijäs en Tina Jeranko (KABK), Jan Steenman (KABK), Natalia Jordanova (KABK)
Their works will be shown in TENT’s Gym from 8 to 10 April.
