Take a walk with... Mariette Dölle

On 25 October at 2 p.m., you can choose to go on a tour with Mariette Dölle, TENT’s artistic director, through the spectacular solo exhibition as created by Nicky Assmann. This exhibition presents a number of room-filling kinetic installations in which Nicky Assmann combines topical technological developments with elementary physical processes. You can observe soap films that freeze in the open air, the beauty of copper oxidation and the bursting of an enormous film of soap liquid, while Mariette relates the backgrounds to Nicky Assmann’s works. She will also tell you about the do’s and don’ts when creating an exhibition: how is an exhibition realized and what does it mean to be in charge of a Rotterdam art institution?
