Night of the Museum - Lightbox Sequencer 2.0

Create your own audiovisual show with the interactive Lightbox Sequencer 2.0 by Jonas Vorwerk. As an artist, DJ and designer, Jonas Vorwerk (Rotterdam) is known by several names, such as Beatnologic, and as a member of the Rotterdam-based collective Tictoc. Vorwerk is a multimedia designer and creates interactive installation art. In his work Vorwerk aims to initiate interaction with the public by operating on the border between autonomous and applied art. This approach has led, among other things, to the audiovisual installation Lightbox Sequencer, that introduces the public to one of the basic principles of contemporary electronic music. The Lightbox Sequencer comprises six luminous sequencer tracks. These ’Lightboxes’ have push buttons, dials and infrared sensors. When a visitor operates one of the controls, this immediately activates an audiovisual spectacle. Sounds with numerous effects are created live.
