Together with TENT, Amenti moveament offers a series of workshops in which they inspire you and offer new perspectives on movement and self-expression. Get yourself right on Sunday morning during this self-care ritual before regular opening hours at TENT (16 pax). Experience how through your senses and movement you can create awareness and come closer to yourself and others. Specifically focusing on sharpening our senses and shutting other parts of ourselves down, together we create a safe space to connect better with us and our enviroment.

‘The power of ritual’- installation at TENT
Amenti MoveMeant currently creates a ritual space at TENT, consisting of five components related to each of the senses: Agua de Florida to touch, Palo Santo to smell, sage tea to taste, a Singing Bowl to hear, a blindfold to see. After passing through one or more of these ritual steps, you are invited to step into the secluded area and experience what you find both within in this tranquil space and yourself. Every day, as from 13.00, a gatekeeper will be present to guide you.

About Amenti MoveMeant
Cultures consist of commonly agreed rituals. Ritual unites us, connecting us to our surroundings. The members of Amenti MoveMeant dance and movement collective have their roots in different cultures and subcultures, but they developed their practice from the realisation they didn’t feel fully at home in any of them. Having investigated other cultural sources, they found inspiration in African and South American rituals, recognising the ancient knowledge, suffering and healing power behind them. From this they have developed ritual experiences, aspiring to make the participants more sensitive to their inner depths and relationship to others.
