De Derde Dinsdag

On Tuesday April 21, the traveling live show on Rotterdam art and culture, De Derde Dinsdag, will give you an hour-and-a-half high speed update with short interviews, performances, movie previews, theater scenes and live music. De Derde Dinsdag is hosted each month at a different cultural ‘hot-spot’, this month De Doelen being its location. As usual, this edition too will be presented by Anna Visser, who engages in conversation with talented creators, artists and opinion leaders that shape the Rotterdam scene.

TENT Curatorial Fellow Niekolaas Johannes Lekkerkerk will be one of this edition’s guests at De Derde Dinsdag. He compiled the group exhibition The Museum of Unconditional Surrender, a temporary and fictional museum inside TENT (opening: Friday May 1) that rearranges the hierarchy between the artwork and the objects that make its presentation possible: plinths, projectors, cables, plants, labels, maps, and booklets take center stage and engage in a direct relationship to the audience.

De Derde Dinsdag is an initiative of Kunstblock (Showroom MAMA, TENT, CBK Rotterdam, V2_, Witte de With, WORM) and MAAS theater and dance, Ro theater, Productiehuis Rotterdam, Rotterdamse Schouwburg, Dance Studios and de Doelen.
