This edition’s host is Anna Visser. Accompanying her is the writer Elfie Tromp, whose second novel, Underdog, a tragicomic novel about failure, is published on 27 November. Elfie will bring her hairless dog, which was her inspiration for diving deeper into the canine world. Artist Charlotte Schleiffert will talk about her monumental mural collage. The dancer Yanaika Holle talks about I’m Here, a new piece by Conny Janssen Danst. The artist Mike Moonen’s work looks at human failure in the quest for perfection, and he is fascinated by easily overlooked images. During a performance, he challenges the audience to explore this quest for perfection. Informal Strategies (Doris Denekamp and Geert van Mil) give an interactive performance. Work by Doris Denekamp and Geert van Mil (Informal Strategies) is currently on show as part of Motion /Labour /Machinery, a group exhibition at TENT. Metahaven shows parts of their new work #TheSprawl, interspersed with informal and personal interviews with the strategist Benedict Singleton. A small fragment of the work is shown during De Derde Dinsdag. For One Night’s Dance 2015, an annual project for new choreographers, Joseph Simon focuses on the space between the plié and the bounce. He takes a journey of discovery along the mathematics of ballet and the grooves of house and dance music. He gives a special performance during De Derde Dinsdag.
