The conversation events are learning sessions for all involved where the angle is to learn from each other. On Friday the 4th of November, Federica Bueti will also be present, adding an extra voice from her own expertise Federica Bueti writes, edits, teaches, and occasionally curates exhibitions. Her research focuses on feminist refusals and decolonial feminist critical poetics. She is the founder of …ment, a journal for contemporary culture, art, and politics, which she ran between 2011 and 2015. She serves as board member of the Work Field Commission of the MA in Artistic Research at The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. She has taught at The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague; Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam, a.o. and regularly gives workshops, and mentors art students and curators.

 

About Maja Bekan
Interested in self-organisation and self-empowerment, Maja Bekan stages situations for individuals to form temporary collectives. By sharing time, they find ways to connect across different life paths and societal divisions. The audience is invited into this open-ended process through improvised live gatherings as well as filmic impressions.
