The evening starts in Theater Rotterdam (location Witte de With), where theologian Janneke Stegeman’s lecture returns us to our bodies and limbs, igniting pleasure and desire from within. Performance duo Boogaerdt/Van der Schoot’s work researches ‘rooms for transformation’. At Theater Rotterdam, they invite you to enter their specially designed space, where no one is connected to everything, and everything is connected to something. Borders and scale are cast aside; polar bears and intestinal flora become equally important.

The second part of the evening takes place at TENT in the exhibition Solid, Liquid, Vapour by Esther Kokmeijer. Over the course of the year, Esther has taken part in the journey of each Club Imagine as its resident artist. She shared the roads and detours that are now brought together in this extensive solo exhibition for which she extends her tentacles in every direction. The exhibition’s title refers to the three states of water. This tripartition also becomes a sliding scale in an experiment conducted by Esther and water physicist Elmar C. Fuchs. Strange but true: perhaps this is the new condition that we should get used to.

The sounds of Stan Vreeken’s blue notes accompany this edition, which concludes with a Bloesembar’s mocktail.
