Erik van Lieshout
Erik van Lieshout (Deurne, 1968) is an artist who makes paintings, collages, drawings, installations, and videos. He is internationally recognised for his remarkable films, which address major themes such as love, nationalism, racism, and art’s social significance. He is always a protagonist within his work, asking the most confrontational questions without sparing himself.

Liesbeth Levy 
Liesbeth Levy (1964) is director of Stichting LOKAAL. She was formerly the artistic director of the De Unie debate platform in Rotterdam and organised debates for De Rode Hoed in Amsterdam. She was also part of the programming staff for Rotterdam’s 2001 hosting of the European Capital of Culture. She regularly chairs at debates and meetings and works as a publicist, journalist, lecturer, and television editor. Levy studied Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam.
