Book Launch Onderzoek & Ontwikkeling

The book launch for Onderzoek & Ontwikkeling – Bijzondere projecten, residencies, publicaties en onderzoek door Rotterdamse kunstenaars – 2010|2011|2012|2013 (Research & Development – Special projects, residencies, publications and research by Rotterdam artists, 2010–2013) takes place at 15:00 on Sunday 1 March at TENT.

The first copy of the O&O book will be presented to the leader of D66 Rotterdam, Salima Belhaj. Journalist Vincent Cardinal shall give a lecture under the title ‘Where Do We Go from Here’, and designer Bart Oppenheimer and writer Sandra Smets discuss the book’s design and structure. Performance artist Peter Fengler will provide an artistic contribution to the afternoon. The Shift & Drift exhibition at TENT and accompanying publication celebrate the fifth anniversary of the O&O grant.

The CBK Rotterdam’s Research & Development (O&O) grant has been running since 2010. The grant provides Rotterdam artists the opportunity to develop and deepen their work. In this publication, the CBK Rotterdam reports on the results of the O&O scheme’s first four years. The O&O grant has supported over 170 special projects, residencies and publications.
