Save your Face is linked to the solo exhibition Anne Wenzel – The Opaque Palace at TENT. For more than ten years, Anne Wenzel has been developing a strong and distinctive oeuvre of ceramic sculptures and installations. In her work, beauty competes with terror, figuration with abstraction, and prosperity with decay. The work is characterised through her original handling of materials and techniques; experimenting with scale, chemical additives, and radical distortions, she tests the boundaries of the sculptural medium.

Museumnacht - Save Your Face
During Rotterdam’s 2014 Museum Night, TENT presents Save Your Face, a project where visitors are challenged to immortalise themselves in clay. How would you immortalise yourself? As a hero, (mythical) animal, monster or just as yourself? Beautiful, ugly, angry, happy? Accept the challenge and join TENT’s hall of fame for the night. Professionals will provide tips and tricks. The artist Anne Wenzel will choose three winning works that will be kiln baked and exhibited.
