I Pie Quantify
Imagine 24 hours of your life mapped on a special pie chart at TENT; what percentage of those hours have you slept, eaten or slouched in front of the television? This won’t be done using apps or digital measurement equipment, but with old-fashioned pen and paper. This activity, for young and old, is part of Spending Quality Time With My Quantified Self, an exhibition addressing our physicality in relation to the contemporary, data-driven economy.

During Museumnacht010, TENT presents two exhibitions. The group show Spending Quality Time With My Quantified Self presents work by young artists who contemplate, deconstruct, and rearrange the intimate and complex relationship between the human body and digital technology. Artist duo Momu & No Es will present their performance at 21.00 and 23.00 hrs in the framework of their work Highway. Additionally,  artist Ilke Gers will present her new performance Laps.

The Back Room – Paul Beckman is the first part of a special collaboration between TENT and Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, in which underexposed yet iconic Rotterdam artists feature in four solo exhibitions. Paul Beckman made furniture that took on a freer sense of form. Beckman’s work addressed critical questions about the way we shape our environment, and he examined the boundaries of art and design.

21.00 & 23.00h: performance by Momu & No Es
20.00 – 01.00h: ongoing performance by Ilke Gers
