On behalf of the Rotterdamse Schouwburg, Ari Deelder & Anna Hermans will give a preview of the performance Paradiscus. Inspired by the competitive nativity scene tradition from Spain (Belenes), from Christmas Eve till 10 January 2016, four lavish nativity scenes will be on display in our window of Showroom MAMA. During De Derde Dinsdag, more information will be given about this nativity scene mania. For One Night’s Dance 2015, the young choreographer Joseph Simons focuses on the ‘liminal’ space between plié and bounce and he creates a voyage of discovery along the ‘groove’ of house music and dance and the mathematics of ballet. During this evening, there will be a sneak peak of the dance. The own WORM festival Ver Uit De Maat celebrates the existence of the original spirit. Singer/guitarist Frank Boerboom, now called Janine Wegman, composes old country songs in the Dutch language which hail the bottom of society, and will perform during this evening to represent the festival. V2_ will give a brief presentation of their coming exhibition Data in the 21st Century about the friction between the unpredictable reality in which we live and the longing to capture this in unambiguous data. The evening will end with a performance by organist Geert Bierling.
