Nicky Assmann studied Art Science at the Interfaculty of the Royal Conservatory and the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. She was nominated for the 2015 Prix de Rome. Assmann has exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery (London), National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (Taiwan), Wood Street Galleries (Pittsburgh), Quartier 21 (Vienna), V2_Institute for the Unstable Media (Rotterdam), and she has performed at festivals including TodaysArt and 5 Days Off.

Petra Heck is an independent curator (including for TAAK) and focuses on contemporary media art, performances, and (online) public space. She specialises in video, the Internet, and other volatile art forms. From 2006 to 2012, Heck worked as head of exhibitions at NIMk (Dutch Media Art Institute). Her curated exhibitions include solo shows by Cory Arcangel and Omar Fast, and group exhibitions and performances with artists including Mark Leckey, Constant Dullaart, JODI, Mounira Al Solh, Metahaven, and Ola Vasiljeva. At NASA (New Art Space Amsterdam), she worked with Nicoline van Harskamp, Gabriel Lester, and others. In 2015, she was the guest curator of the TodaysArt Festival in The Hague.

Joost Rekveld‘s abstract animations, films, and light installations often touch upon scientific research. Many of his films have been premiered at the Rotterdam International Film Festival, and his films have also been screened at the Barbican, ICA, and Tate Modern in London, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Moderna Museet in Stockholm.
