TENT during Art Rotterdam

Wednesday 10 February until Sunday 14 February, 12.00 – 16.30 hrs and from 17.30 – 21.00hrs – Erik van Lieshout, DOG in the Pauluskerk
The two-channel video DOG by the artist Erik van Lieshout is a monument for the Russian rocket scientist Aleksandr Dolmatov, and addresses the current practical and everyday consequences in Rotterdam of European refugee and asylum policy. TENT presents the installation in the context of the Pauluskerk, an organisation painfully aware of the consequences of such policies. Ongoing screening, free admission.

Thursday 11 February, 20.00 hrs – Opening
On the second day of Art Rotterdam, two new exhibitions will open in TENT: Spending Quality Time With My Quantified Self and The Back Room: Paul Beckman: the first part of a new collaboration project with Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen.

Thursday 11 February, 21.00 hrs – Performances
Performance by artist duo Momu & No Es on the occasion of the opening of Spending Quality Time With My Quantified Self. The performance corresponds to the work Highway, in which the audience is taken along into an imaginary world full of references to a digital existence.

Anni Puolakka and Jenna Sutela invite the audience for their Attention Spa. Submerged in water, Puolakka and Sutela investigate their situation from a technological, material and mutual perspective, with a focus on the sensorial and unquantifiable.

Friday 12 February, 17.00 hrs – Perfromance
