TENT has been supporting artists since 1999, with exhibitions of iconic Rotterdam artists and providing young artists with a stage and springboard to greater public outreach. The annual TAA – the prize for the best graduating audio-visual talent – is now one of the most important events for discovering young video art talent from home and abroad. By offering the winner of the TAA a residency in Finland, TENT continues its commitment to developing young artistic talent.
Support us
Support the TENT Running Team and contribute to an artist residency for a promising young talent. A residency in Finland costs € 4000; the more money TENT collects, the more young artists get this unique opportunity. Every Euro is welcome and goes towards TENT’s budget to achieve this special project. Sponsors above € 300, can have their (company) logo adorn the runner’s sweatbands.
The TENT Running Team
The running team will be encouraged by the TENT Running Ambassadors, such as marathon running artists Jasper Krabbé, Guido van der Werve and Gil & Moti. The team will be racing to the finish in style wearing specially designed shirts by De Jongens Ronner. The TENT Running Team consists of Mariette Dölle (artistic director), Josephine van Kranendonk (communications), Jesse van Oosten (curator), Judith Vorwerk (education), Nadia van Luijk (public reception), Nienke Post (office coordinator), Ruben of Velde (technician), en Hedwig Homoet. The TENT Running Team can’t wait to work up a sweat for this good cause.
