A walk with Daria de Beauvais

On Sunday 6 April, Daria de Beauvais will give a special tour of the exhibition Anne Wenzel – The Opaque Palace at TENT. Daria de Beauvais is a curator at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris and curated this exhibition of Anne Wenzel’s sculptures, in which the major themes of her work – power, destruction, heroism, history – are portrayed in the setting of an abandoned palace.

A horrifyingly beautiful and enchanted setting which is delicious, but it is uncomfortable wandering between Wenzel’s sculptures", wrote the Dutch national newspaper Trouw newspaper on The Opaque Palace.

Guest curator Daria de Beauvais will lead a walk through the halls of the The Opaque Palace on Sunday April 6 at 15:00 and will talk about the choice of works, the creation of the exhibition, and her perspective on Anne Wenzel’s œuvre.
Daria de Beauvais is a curator at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris and an independent curator. In 2012 she presented the exhibition "Into the Woods" in the Galerie des Galeries Lafayette, Paris, which included works by Anne Wenzel.
