The Opaque Palace transforms the exhibition spaces into a total installation in which the dominant themes of her monumental sculptures – power, destruction, heroism, history – are depicted. Daria de Beauvais, curator at Palais de Tokyo, Paris, has curated the exhibition. The exhibition includes a monograph, Prospects of Perception, published by Lecturis in collaboration with TENT and designed by 75B.

Opening Anne Wenzel - The Opaque Palace
The opening of Anne Wenzel’s solo exhibition takes place during the art fair Art Rotterdam on Thursday 6 February at 20.00h. During the festive opening the East German band Lulu will perform and there are oysters by Henk&Remt and sweets by Mevrouw Zoetekauw. There will be afterdrinks at WORM from 23.00 – 03.00h with the DJ’s Mark du Mosch and Billy Ray de la Hay.
