Jury chairman Joop Caldenborgh shall announce the winner at the award ceremony on 10 January. This initiative once again provides a positive impetus to art now in Rotterdam. On this exciting evening we shall also toast the New Year. It shall be a celebration of art in Rotterdam, with performances by BLISS, music by Half Way Station, Trio Tante Dinie and soprano Renate Arends accompanied by Hans van der Ham. Rotterdam based writer Ernest van der Kwast and Raoul de Jong and creative director at TENT, Mariette Dölle will share their visions for 2013 and there’s a PopUpBar from Maallust as well as fries of Bram Ladage.
